Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to lead software quality assurance activities across multiple applications and releases. The candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies, designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automation testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior QA team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Review business and technical requirements and identify potential quality risks.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform API and database testing where required.
- Validate software across different browsers, devices, and environments.
- Monitor test execution results and prepare quality/status reports.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA analysts and provide technical guidance.
- Support release validation and production verification activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are met before releases.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience with manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, TestRail, or similar tool
