We’re looking for a Manual Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. In this role, you’ll design and execute test cases, identify defects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Skills

Key Skills

  • 1-7 years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and executing manual test cases.
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium.
  • Understanding of performance and security testing basics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle client interactions if required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Design and execute manual test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.
  • Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation and artifacts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
