Full job description
We are the first and only marriage super app in India offering end-to-end matrimony and wedding products to urban Indians, who are the primary decision makers for their marriage and wedding decisions, unlike their parents who were in the driver’s seat a decade ago.
Our flagship product – matrimonial matchmaking – offers these users the world’s fastest matching in a single click (US Patent No. 16/777,773). This matching technology is faster than dating apps and more accurate than traditional matrimonial sites.
Company funding:
Betterhalf.ai has successfully raised $8.5M in Series A funding from marquee investors like Y Combinator, FinSight Ventures, Instagram cofounder, Dropbox co-founder, Kunal Shah – CRED founder and Nobroker founders.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Wedding Expert, you are responsible for
- Discussing all the aspects of the wedding with the bride and groom and guiding their decision making process.
- Preparing a strait-laced budget for the wedding in the most efficient manner.
- Suggesting locations, decoration, photographers, caterers etc. As an ideal candidate, you should be obtaining quotes from vendors and maintaining a good relationship with them
- Identifying client’s needs & requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Betterhalf & the services we provide.
- Staying up to date with innovative trends in the wedding industry
- Achieving sales targets
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build & maintain strong client & business relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, design or related field.
- 2+ years experience in Wedding sales, planning or execution.
- Strong understanding of various cultures and their wedding customs.
- Proven track of successful wedding planning or event management projects.
- Customer obsession & excellent customer-service skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities in stressful situations.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Compensation:
INR 5 – 6 LPA + Additional Incentives
