Store Operations Manager – The Car Laundry (Bengaluru)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at The Car Laundry. This role requires someone who can manage teams efficiently, ensure smooth store functioning, and deliver exceptional customer experiences—while driving revenue growth and walk-in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Store Performance & Growth

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase customer footfall, improve store traffic, and maximize profitability
  • Drive store-level revenue, upselling, and walk-in conversions
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and take corrective actions

  1. Team Management & Leadership

  • Train, motivate, and mentor store staff to achieve sales and service goals
  • Allocate tasks efficiently and ensure productivity across the team
  • Provide regular feedback and maintain high team morale

  1. Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before delivery to maintain quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers on service timelines and updates
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and escalations professionally

  1. Operations & Process Management

  • Oversee vehicle receiving, job allocation, and service workflow
  • Maintain checklists and ensure real-time updates of car status
  • Upload before/after and progress images for internal tracking

  1. Delivery & Logistics

  • Coordinate vehicle deliveries and manage driver allocation
  • Ensure smooth store opening and closing procedures

  1. Inventory & Maintenance

  • Track inventory levels and raise timely stock requirements
  • Report and follow up on equipment maintenance issues
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and upkeep of the store and machinery

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in store operations, retail, or sales
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Valid driving license (mandatory) and ability to handle vehicles confidently

Compensation

  • Starting from ₹35,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Performance-based incentives
