Broadband Information Transport and Secured Optical Network (BITS-ON) Group
About the Position:
Fully funded Postdoctoral position under an NSF–MEITY Joint Collaborative Research Project. The
selected candidate will be hosted at IIIT Delhi and will collaborate closely with researchers at IIT
Madras and University of California, Davis. Research focuses on AI-driven optical network design,
intelligent IP-over-optical architectures, machine learning for quality of transmission estimation, and
data-driven network optimization with experimental validation on advanced optical communication
testbeds.
Essential Skills:
- Strong background in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Knowledge of IP Networks and Optical Communication
Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD degree submitted (CSE / ECE or related discipline)
- Strong publication record in relevant domains
- Strong foundation in AI/ML and Networks
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
