Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Directs pharmacy workflow, maintains inventory control (including controlled substances), and manages supply chain logistics.
- Staff Leadership: Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates performance of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensures compliance with state/federal regulations
- Clinical Collaboration: Liaises with physicians and nursing staff to ensure effective patient therapy and accurate medication dispensing.
- Financial Administration: Manages the pharmacy budget, including monitoring capital expenditures and controlling costs.
- Performance Improvement: Develops, reviews, and updates pharmacy policies and procedures.
