We at TOUR ASSISTANCE INDIA is inviting applications of young and dynamic professionals for the HR (Human Resource) position.
Recruitment and Selection
HR is responsible for recruiting and selecting employees who possess the required competencies, skills, and knowledge specific to tourism-related roles.
Ensuring the right fit for positions such as tour guides/escort, travel agents, and other customer-facing roles.
Training and Development
HR organizes ongoing training and development programs to enhance employee skills, including customer service, cultural sensitivity, safety, and industry standards.
Ensuring employees are well-equipped to handle evolving industry trends like sustainable tourism or digital platforms.
Employee Engagement and Welfare
HR facilitates employee engagement by monitoring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.
Managing employee welfare programs that include health, safety, and wellness initiatives tailored to travel and tourism work conditions.
Performance Management and Retention
Implementing systems for evaluating employee performance and motivating them through recognition and rewards.
Developing strategies for retaining skilled employees despite challenges like seasonal employment and high turnover.
Compliance and Legal Responsibilities
Ensuring all employees adhere to legal requirements, labor laws, and company policies.
Managing contracts and ensuring compliance to avoid legal disputes.
Workforce Planning and Flexibility
HR forecasts future workforce needs based on industry trends and business goals.
Managing seasonal fluctuations in staffing by hiring temporary staff during peak periods and adapting to changing operational demands.
Handling Challenges Specific to Tourism
Addressing the unique stressors of tourism jobs, such as customer-facing pressures, irregular work hours, and cultural diversity.
Building a workforce that can provide outstanding service to a global and diverse customer base.
Business Travel Management (if applicable)
Facilitating business travel arrangements, policies, and employee well-being during travel.
Additional Duties
- Shaping organizational culture to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
- Managing corporate travel policies and ensuring compliance for employees traveling on business.
- Handling employee welfare, benefits, health, and safety programs tailored to the tourism work environment.
- Addressing unique challenges like seasonal workforce fluctuations by hiring temporary staff and adapting contracts during peak and off-peak periods.
- Managing high turnover through continuous recruitment and training of new staff.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and handling contracts to avoid disputes.
- Offering career progression and development opportunities to motivate employees.
- Promoting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity given the diverse and global nature of the workforce.
- Managing stress and burnout associated with tourism jobs that involve customer-facing roles and irregular hours.
- Supporting employees during business travel by providing guidance, maintaining communication, and addressing potential issues such as travel delays or lost items.
Essential Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams and customer-oriented staff.
- Expertise in recruitment, training, and development specific to tourism service standards and cultural awareness.
- Problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges like staffing fluctuations, customer complaints, and compliance issues.

- Bachelorss (Preferred)
Experience:
- HR sourcing: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:

- Hindi (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50 percentage (Preferred)
