Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses under supervision.
  • Support in gathering, organizing, and validating financial data and documents required for tax filings.
  • Perform basic tax calculations and ensure accuracy of data entered into tax software.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with US tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines.
  • Conduct preliminary tax research on simple issues and document findings for senior review.
  • Help in preparing workpapers and maintaining proper documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect required information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and ensure data security at all times.
  • Assist in responding to client queries and support communication for tax-related matters.
  • Stay updated with basic US tax concepts, rules, and compliance requirements through training and self-learning.
